The three cameras are placed in a triangular form incased in a circular camera bump. Below the camera is an LED flashlight and the logo is printed in the center of the bottom half. The unique factor about the display is not the size of it, but the curvature of the screen around the sides very much like the infinity display in the Samsung S7. The difference is that the S7 had a big top and bottom bezel where the bezels on the top and the bottom in the Nex 3 are almost non-existent. The manufacturers of the Nex 3 are calling the curves on the sides as a new ‘waterfall’ display.
The display does not seem to have any type of screen protection however provides the basic touch screen features like the capacitive touchscreen and multi-touch feature. The display also contains a fingerprint sensor beneath it.

Performance of Vivo Nex 3 5G
Considering the price point of the Vivo’s Nex 3 5G, it packs a quite performance features from what we see in the papers. It has the potential to be one of the favorites among the average consumers.
The Nex 3 5G has a Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855+ (7 nm) chipset with an Octa-core (1×2.96 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 485) as the main processors. For the graphics, Vivo decided to go with an Adreno 640 (700 MHz) graphics chip to take full advantage of the huge display. The processor is of 64-bit architecture and the RAM actually comes in two variants, an 8 GB variant and 12 GB one. This will make sure that the display has no lags and is totally stutter-free. The Nex 3 comes with an Android v9.1 (Pie) over Vivo’s custom UI, the FunTouch OS v9.1.
The battery is also great with a 4500 mAh capacity fast charging 44W battery which charges through a USB Type-C port. The 3.5 mm 32-bit/192kHz audio headphone jack is also included on the bottom with a loudspeaker grill.
The phone provides external storage up to 256 GB and dual nano-SIM tray. The fingerprint sensor is placed beneath the display, which a light-powered sensor. Like the name suggests, one of the newly added features for the phone is the 5G network availability with all the other basic network connectivity features.
The Vivo Nex 3 5G features a standard Li-Ion 4500 mAh capacity battery. The battery can last a full day of usage, but considering how much the user uses the screen on time and the graphics feature while gaming, the results may vary. The phone also features a fast-charging battery at 44W which is quite impressive. The phone is charged by a USB Type-C port in the bottom and unfortunately does not have a wireless charging feature.
Overall the battery is pretty standard and could stand a whole day of use but the huge AMOLED display and the in-display fingerprint sensor which has to constantly monitor for the fingerprint may drain the battery faster.
From the above description, we can clearly see that Vivo has worked out all the necessary features for the Vivo Nex 3 5G. The Nex 3 has the potential to be one of the best phones in the Vivo lineup. The phone could be one of the top-selling phones among the buyers due to its high-end specs. Only set back could be the battery due to the big AMOLED display.
The Price of Vivo Nex 3 5G is expected to be around Rs. 1 Lakh.
