Samsung has launched two new smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. Samsung has always been success to deliver best big-screen phones around. The best thing about the new Samsung Note 10 is how delightfully small it is. It is 6.3-inch which is one of the most compact big-screen phones yet, all thanks to its nearly bezel-free Infinity-O screen. The punch-hole for the front-facing camera is situated in the center at the top of the phone’s screen, rather than at the top-right like Galaxy S-series.
Design and Display
The biggest design change compared to other Samsung phones is the introduction of the Cinematic Infinity Display with AMOLED – reduces 40% less harmful blue light, giving us a pleasant and soothing effect on our eyes.
The Note 10 has a full-screen display with a punch-hole cutout at the top-center of the screen for the front-camera. It has a 6.3 -inch AMOLED display with a pack of 2280 x 1080 pixels, which is full HD+.
It is not just smaller but has also become lighter and thinner – measures 72 x 151 x 7.9mm, and at 16g. It is one of the lightest (top of the range) Samsung phone available.
Both S10 and S10 Plus has a fingerprint scanner which is embedded under the screen and is found slightly higher which feels more comfortable to put your thumb naturally.
On the bottom edge of the phone, you will find the USB-C connector in the center, with a speaker and S-Pen slot sitting to the right of it.
One of the most notable features missing in both Note 10 phones is- a headphone jack. Not surprisingly, you would be carrying around a dongle that does not come with the phone. So make sure that you have a good Bluetooth headphone to carry.
Galaxy Note 10 can be one of the striking phones of the year, especially if you
get it in the Aura Glow color. The
frame of the phone is a premium metal, while
the black is made of glass. You can get in Aura White, Aura Black, and Aura
Blue. The Aura Glow is the current favorite of ours, as it’s color changes
depending on the light you’re using the phone under.
With time S-Pen has really pulled up its game, as it has gained some new tricks on to impress that one perfectionist. It lets you convert handwriting to text. On using the Samsung Notes app, you can convert handwriting to text directly, just by double-tapping the word or words and then selecting the convert button.
Now S-Pen comes with new Air Action gesture, which allows you to touch-free gesture control.
Last but not least, there is a new AR Doodle feature that helps you to draw on a live view of a subject or multiple subjects, and whatever you draw on them will travel with them as they move about the frame.
This time the camera feature isn’t as exciting as it was at the time of Galaxy S10 or Galaxy S10 Plus. It is using the same combination of a 16 MP ultra-wide lens, a 12 MP regular lens and a 12 MP telephoto lens.
Samsung has tried to bring a movie like technology in mobile. The image stabilization technology has been improved. And a new feature called Live Focus Video is added, which enables you to capture ‘bokeh’ background blur effects of the kind we’re using to seeing in portrait-mode stills.
If you are into photo/videography, then this phone seems to be the pocket buddy for your instant photo as well as video editing. You can edit your video as you take it with a feature of AR Doodle.
If you are the one who is always hustling between your phone and mobile for your presentation then, Samsung makes it pretty easy with its upgraded DeX mode. All you need is a USB-C cable and connect both devices together and then you can run apps like PowerPoint, drag-and-drop files on and offs the device to the desktop.
You can also sync it to your computer for syncing of your photos, messages, and calls too. It provides you with a much more seamless desktop experience.
The Galaxy Note 10 can be considered as one of the fastest Android phones in the current time, as it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 CPU, but there are other phones on line to knock it off its line.
The phone is backed up with 8GB of RAM, and it’s only available with 256GB of storage. Finally, Note 10 bids farewell to microSD. To our bad luck, Note 10 will not have expandable storage. This storage can be plenty of use for the average user, but if you want more then you can seek for its other option i.e. Note 10 Plus – comes with 512GB of built-in storage as well as microSD support.
Samsung has called Galaxy Note 10 as ‘next level power’ and hence there is still some days left till we come to know about it. But for now we could say that this phone is here to stay in the market for a long run. We cannot guarantee you that it is the best phone in the market but we can say that it can be the best in its use.
