Oppo F11 Pro | Oppo F11 Pro Review

With a small time span, Oppo has really put themselves in the leading market of many Asian countries. The mid-range prices and with forward-thinking hardwares, Oppo has become popular among many users.

Oppo F11 Pro

Oppo just released their new line of a phone this year with a refined touched to its traditional design. Oppo F11 Pro seems to be the next attention-grabber. As they step toward the next generation pop-up selfie camera and has claimed to have an excellent battery life with a VOOC fast-charging system.

Design and Display

Oppo has redefined their steady look in this phone as they seem to be really captivating with 6.5-inch (16.5 cm) FHD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) ‘Panoramic’ display. The phone claims to have more than 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and does not have any notch.

The Oppo F11 Pro is available in Thunder Black, and Aurora Black. The Thunder Black model comes with a new triple-color gradient design at a back with a mix of Purple, Black, and Violet hue. I think Thunder Black is really eye-catching and can be the favorite of all.

Oppo F11 Pro Camera

The Oppo F11 Pro’s rear camera comes with familiar dual camera setup48MP with f/1.7 aperture + 5MP with f/2.4 aperture for deep sensing. The front camera sensor is a 16MP one with f/2.0 aperture. Both rear and front cameras support portrait mode. The rear camera also has an Ultra Night mode which improves low light performance and has AI scene recognition which can recognize a total of 23 scenes and 864 combinations.

Oppo F11 Pro

The cameras on the Oppo F11 Pro are really crisp and smooth because of the pop-up mechanism and the sheer number of megapixels. The photos taken from the front-camera are sharp and crisp.

The portrait mode is convincing enough as it has a good separation between the subject and background.

The 48MP camera setting, however, is not default, and needs to enabled as we go to the Photo Radio setting and choose 4:3 (Ultra HD). The default is 4:3. The difference between 4:3 and 4:3 (Ultra HD) is that Ultra HD setting increases the color saturation and the clarity in the shot a little by reducing grain.

The Ultra HD shots does not support Zoom, HDR, Filter, Beauty, Chroma Boost, AI Scene Recognition or Continuous Shooting.

Performance

This phone has a excellent battery life as it has 4000mAh battery. The new Oppo F11 Pro comes with VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology, which can charge the phone to full in about 80 minutes. The 4000mAh battery is expected to last for a long time, as there is no issues making it through a full day’s worth of social media, emails, YouTube, gaming, and some light web browsing.

The phone has two options for Face Unlock, one you can activate as soon as you hit the power button, and the other requires you to swipe up from the lock screen first. The good thing about Face Unlock is that the phone adjust its screen’s brightness in dark surroundings to ensure a proper face scan. The finger-print scanner in this phone is fast and is able to unlock the smartphone quickly.

The phone seems to handle multitasking very easily with no sudden battery drop nor heating issue. You can binge watch your favorite films, listen to songs on speakers on full, and at the same time, you can find a way to you favorite restaurant in your neighbourhood using Google Maps.

Conclusion

The Oppo F11 Pro is perhaps the best looking smartphone in the mid-tier segment. It can be that phone for you who are interested in owning a premium-looking smartphone but don’t want to dig too deep.

Price in Nepal – Rs. Rs. 47,990.
