The iPhone 11 Pro Max was released as the set of new iPhone 11s. The new iPhone 11 Pro Max is said to hit the markets in the upcoming fall around September 20 with the iPhone 11.
Apple has decided to bump up the specs for the Pro Max, both for the design compared to the iPhone 11. The new Pro Max is similar in design but is bigger and is of a higher quality. It also sports a big notch in the top-front of the display same as the iPhone 11, with same speaker grills and still no headphone jack. There aren’t any huge changes when it comes to the design for this phone either compared to the iPhone 11. The only noticeable changes in the design are the triple camera and a bigger body with a bigger display.
The iPhone Max Pro is priced around $1,099 for a 64 GB storage and it costs around $1,249 for a 256 GB model and $1,449 for a 512 GB version.
The iPhone Pro max has bigger everything compared to the iPhone 11. It has a bigger body, a bigger display and an addition of a third camera for the main camera in the back.
The design and the measurements of this phone is bumped but is very much similar to iPhone 11. Only difference is that the bigger Max Pro has a triple camera showcase. The Max Pro has a matte colored body and the camera square has a glossy finish to it. While on the 11’s it’s just the opposite.
It has a body ratio of 8.1 mm x 77.8 mm x 158 mm of thickness width and height respectively and weighs around 226 grams.
It is waterproof and also water-resistant up to 30 minutes in about 4-meter-deep in water. The phone has an array of colors with standard Black and White colors and other unique colors such as Gold, Silver, Space Grey and Midnight Green.
Display on iPhone 11 Pro Max
Apple has incorporated one of the best displays on this phone, that is the OLED display. The OLED stands for Organic Light-Emitting Diodes which produces a higher quality resolution and a brighter display. The OLED display on the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a pixel density of 456 ppi. The aspect ratio is 19.5: 9. The Max Pro too has the big notch in the front which holds the front-facing camera, proximity sensors and the speakers for calls.
The screen size is said to be 6.5 inches and the screen resolution is 1242 x 2688 pixels. The size covered by the screen in front of the phone is at about 84.19%.
The Max pro has the 3d touch built-in with some of the features of the 3d touch toned downed compared to the last year’s iPhone.
Cameras on iPhone 11 Pro Max
The iPhone 11 Pro Max has a triple camera setup enclosed by rounded-square that has a glossy finish to it contrasting with a matte body. Two of the three cameras are placed vertically and another is placed on the right-side in the middle of the two cameras.
The main camera or the rare camera has an exposure sensor compensation and ISO control. The main camera is a combo of a one standard F2.2 12 MP wide-angle camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12 MP telephoto lens. All three lenses have optical image stabilization and face detection auto-focus. The image resolutions produced from this camera is 4000 x 3000 pixels
The front camera on this phone also has the new feature called to slofies, which are the slow-motion selfies. It is a 12 MP true depth camera to take selfies that move. The front camera also has the standard face id which is also said to be more accurate and about 3% faster than before.
The cameras also good for low light photography and include a retina flash.
For the performance, the 11 Pro Max does not have many distinguishing aspects but definitely has some bonus features. For example, it has an Apple GPU that is a four-core graphics chip.
The chipset is similar as the 11’s that is the Apple A13 Bionic and has 13.0 iOS. The processor is a similar Hexa-core with 2.65 GHz, dual-core, lightning plus quad-core.
The standard Max Pro has a 64 GB internal storage capacity with no additional storage and a 4 GB RAM. But other more expensive versions of this phone come with a 256 GB internal storage with a 4 GB RAM and a 512 GB internal Storage also with a 4 GB RAM.
The bigger version of the 11’s also has a bigger battery encased inside the phone which is a Li-Ion with a capacity of 3969 mAh. This is sure to get you through the whole day; however, the OLED display might drain the battery on a brighter scale. The package comes with the standard charging bring and a wire that has a lighting port for the phone but does not have a USB type-C that goes in the charging brick like the original 11. The phone has also a wireless charging feature.
Apple has claimed that the charging on the Pro Max is faster as well. It has a quick charging that is capable of charging 50% battery in 30 minutes.
In conclusion, Max Pro is just a beast version of the 11 Max. It trumps both the 11 and the 11 Max in specs, durability and features.
The Max Pro is definitely not a budget phone because it lies on the expensive end of the flag-ship spectrum with just the starting price at about a $1000.
The Max Pro is made for the consumers who demand a higher-end and the best and top-level quality features on a phone, hence the reason for being so expensive.
Price in Nepal – Rs. 1,78,000 (64GB), Rs. 2,02,000 (256GB), Rs. 2,34,000 (512GB)
