Google Pixel 3A

Google being the high-end flagship smartphone made this budget smartphone especially to appeal to the average consumers who are looking for an overall phone within their cash range.

The Pixel 3A and 3A XL are very similar in design to the Pixel 2 and build. Only difference to spot are the plastic and glass backs on the respective phones. Most of the significant changes are made on the internal features of the phone.

Like mentioned before, the design of the Google Pixel 3A are very similar in the structures and the design. The build quality is a little different since the glass body is swapped for a plastic one. For this reason, the Pixel 3A has no accessibility to a wireless charging feature. The phone is also lighter and minimalistic. The phone comes in only two basic colors, those are the ‘Just Black’ and ’Clearly White’.

Google Pixel 3A design

Both the volume keys and the power buttons are placed on the right side of the phone meaning the SIM tray is on the left side. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is placed one the top left side of the phone and on the right, you can find the IR blaster. The fingerprint sensor is placed slightly on the upper side and is centered. Instead, the Pixel 3A has a thick border on the top as well as a chin of the same size on the bottom. The camera, speaker for calling and the sensors safely rest on the top bezel.

Camera on Google Pixel 3A

Google has decided to go with a minimalistic feature for the camera as well, giving the 3A a standard 8 MP lens for the front-facing camera and a 12.2 MP lens for the main camera on the back with the flash. Both the front and the rear camera have the aperture of F2.0. The cameras are not of the highest quality since it is only a budget mid-range version of the original Pixel 3. Being a budget smartphone Google decided to go with only one camera

The cameras have exposure compensation and ISO control. The rear camera has a fixed focus feature. The autofocus allows the cameras for face detection and dual pixel autofocus. The shooting modes on this phone have a continuous shooting and HDR mode. The cameras also have optical image stabilization. The cameras are able to shoot photos at a 1080p and shoot videos are 1920x1080p at 30 fps and 1280x720p at 30fps. The sensors on the cameras are the Exmor-RS CMOS Sensor.
